On May 28th, BYD officially announced the price of the Qin L (parameters | inquiry) model, with 5 models available for different configurations. This car is a brand new mid size sedan under BYD, equipped with the latest fifth generation DM system. There are two types of pure electric range under CLTC conditions: 80km and 120km. The fuel consumption under NEDC conditions is only 2.9L/100km, and the comprehensive range under full fuel and electric conditions is 2100 kilometers
BYD Qin L adopts the "New China-Chic Longyan Aesthetics" in terms of styling. In terms of body dimensions, its length, width and height are respectively 4830/1900/1495mm, and its wheelbase is 2790mm, which is positioned at medium-sized cars. There are four exterior colors available, including Ice Green, Jianyao Purple, Runyu White, and Tea Crystal Grey, as well as two interior colors, Haoyue Mi and Xuanwu Grey. In terms of power, the Qin L adopts the latest fifth generation DM technology. This plug-in hybrid system consists of a 1.5L engine and an electric motor, with a maximum power of 74kW and a maximum torque of 126N · m. The motor has two power options, one is a 120kW motor paired with a 10.08kWh blade battery, with a pure electric range of 80km under CLTC conditions; A 160 motor paired with a 15.87kWh blade battery, with a pure electric range of 120km under CLTC conditions. Thanks to the fifth generation DM technology platform, the highest thermal efficiency of the engine is 46.06%. The Qin L DM-i has a fuel consumption of only 2.9L/100km under NEDC operating conditions, and a comprehensive range of 2100 kilometers on full fuel and electricity
